· Classification is the segregation of species on basis of it or their properties
· There are 5 kingdoms
o Animal –-- Vertebrates and Invertebrates
o Plantae
o Fungi
o Algae
o Monera
· Invertebrates Consist of
o Protozoa – Unicellular and Microscopic
o Annelida – Ring Worms
o Nematodes – Worms without segments
o Arthropods
§ Arachnids
§ Crustaceans
§ Insecta
§ Myria – pods
o Molluscs – Which have a soft body but a hard shell surrounding it.
o Platylelmenthis – Which r flat worms
o Echonodeemata – Are invertebrates in which a limb can regenerate with the help of Totipotent Cells.
· VERTEBRATES Consist of :
o Repitles - Crocodile and Lizard. They are Oviparous or lay eggs and give birth
o Amphibians – Frogs etc. Even they are Oviparous
o Pisces – R fish they are also Oviparous
o Aves – They r birds and are Oviparous
o Mammals are Viviparous or give birth directly to the young
· Mammals and Aves are Homeothermic or Warm – Blooded animals
The rest are Poikilothermic or Cold – Blooded animal
· Algae are a group of unicellular organisms which have chlorophyll present in it .
· Fungi Moist/Damp area || Either Saphrosites or Parasites || Reproduce through spores
Cell wall à made of Chitin || Act on Substrate
Species :
Is a group of organisms that can breed together

Is The names in Latin Contain the Genus and the Species
For Eg. Pisum Satium
Pisum is the Genus and Satium Is the Species
