Treaty of St Germain - 1919
With Austria

  • separated Austria from Hungary
  • stopped Anchluss
  • Bohemia and Moravia to Czechoslovakia
  • Dalmatia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina to Serbia, along with Montenegro to form Yugoslavia
  • Bukovina to Romania
  • Galatia to Poland
  • South Tyrol, Trentino, Istria and Triste to Italy
Treaty of Trianon - 1920 (Delayed due to communist revolt)
With Hungary
  • Slovakia and Ruthenia to Czechoslovakia
  • Croatia and Slovenia to Yugoslavia
  • Transylvania to Romania
These treaties left both countries with economic problems
  • they lost people
  • they lost resources
  • they were set up as one nation, now economic ties, trading and tariffs were all affected
Treaty of Sevres - 1920
With Turkey
  • Eastern Thrace and Aegean islands and Smyrna to Greece
  • Adalia and Rhodes to Italy
  • Syria to France
  • Jordan, Palestine and Iraq to Britain
Treaty of Lausanne - 1923
  • Turkey regained Eastern Thrace and Smyrna
Treaty of Neuilly - 1919
With Bulgaria
  • Lost territory to Greece
  • Not allowed Aegean coastline
  • lost territory to Yugoslavia and Romania
