Gravity

Gravity: Is the force of attraction between all masses

Mass: Is the amount of matter in an object

Weight: Is caused by the pull of gravity

Newtons Laws of Motion

  1. Everything continues at a state of rest or constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force.
  2. The force of a body is directly proportional to its acceleration, and takes place in the direction of the force
    • Force=massxacceleration (F=ma)
    • The higher the mass, the more force it will take to accelerate, and vice versa
  3. Everything that exerts a force, has an equal and opposite force acting on it.
