Gravity
Gravity: Is the force of attraction between all masses
Mass: Is the amount of matter in an object
Weight: Is caused by the pull of gravity
- weight = mass x gravitational force (10N/kg) = X newtons
Newtons Laws of Motion
- Everything continues at a state of rest or constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force.
- The force of a body is directly proportional to its acceleration, and takes place in the direction of the force
- Force=massxacceleration (F=ma)
- The higher the mass, the more force it will take to accelerate, and vice versa
- Everything that exerts a force, has an equal and opposite force acting on it.
