Workers had to join the DAF

• Headed by Dr. Robert Ley
• They had to work on government projects
• Employers and employees were part of the DAF, and it settled disputes between them

DAF

• Beauty of Labor
  • Persuaded employers to improve working conditions
• Strength through Joy
  • Organized leisure time for workers (operas, swimming, theatre, PE, parades, shows, circuses, holidays, etc.)
• Reich Labor Service (RAD)
  • All 18-25 year old men had to do 6 months work service
  • It consisted of manual labor, with low pay
  • Used to indoctrinate young adults
